About the Artist

Thanks for visiting my Portfolio.

I am a self taught Canadian landscape artist living in Southern Ontario, working primarily in acrylics. For more then 30 years my style has remained realism, with an emphasis on subjects that focus on lakes, forest, and rivers. I have a particular fondness for painting the  wilderness of my native Ontario as well as the Rocky Mountains of Western Canada, where much of my art has found inspiration. I strive to present viewers with serene imagery of nature that emphasize light and mood, through carefully balanced compositions. Over the course of my life as an artist, I've been privileged to be shown in galleries in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, as well as abroad in Japan, along with numerous group exhibitions.
